We're So Glad You're Here!

Thank you for visiting the Shreveport Community Church website.

The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:6 that the only thing that matters is faith expressing itself through love.

We express this through LIFE: Love Influencing Faith Everyday.

This is the true meaning of Community. We do LIFE together!

Our hope is that you will join us! Come and see what we are all about.

Pastor Denny and DeAnza Duron

Lead Pastors of Shreveport Community Church

What to Expect at Shreveport Community Church

When you come to Shreveport Community Church you will quickly find a warm, loving, and accepting group of people committed to doing LIFE together. There are two things you should know up front:

1. We accept you as you are!

We aren’t afraid of your shame or your pain. We are a place specifically made for hurting and broken people. So, feel loved and accepted because you are! We also want to celebrate your successes with you! This is a place where you can share your triumphs and find friends who will celebrate everyday with you!

2. We will find a place for you to serve!

Being a part of a community means finding a place to serve. When faith expresses itself through love, it becomes an action! That action is service, service to the community, to our families, and to our church. You have incredible talents and abilities and we want to put those to work to change the world!

Weekly Worship Services

Sunday Mornings at 9:30am & 11:00am.

If you enjoy the classic hymns and foot stomping, hand clapping, southern gospels music, our 9:30am service is tailor made for you.

Our 11:00am service provides a contemporary worship experience with today's latest music.

In both services you will hear powerful biblically based teaching, and an opportunity to make a decision to follow Christ.

Come as you are or dress up – your choice.

People who attend SCC wear everything from jeans to three piece suits.

Everyone is welcome!

You will find a crowd that is diverse and welcoming. We pride ourselves on making everyone who walks in our doors feel at home. Visitors have a chance each week to meet our pastors and ask questions of our incredible connection team.

Sunday Morning Life Groups – 9:30am & 11:00am

For updated groups, check out our Connection Catalog found at the Connection Center.

Life Groups are an opportunity to join with a small group of people to study the Bible and learn more about a particular topic. We have classes for singles, young adults, couples, and more.

Nursery & Preschool ministry are available during all services.

Wednesday Nights at 7:00 pm - THE SOURCE

Wednesdays are an incredible time to connect! The services are casual and include times of worship and powerful inspirational teaching. The most important part of the service, and of our week, is a time of corporate prayer. Prayer makes everything that we do possible and is essential to a healthy relationship with God. If you want to connect and dig deeper in your faith, Wednesdays are definitely for you!

What About Kids?

Ask SCC members what the most important group at SCC is and they all know the answer is KIDS! We love our kids, your kids, all kids and provide programs for infants through 6th grade during every service. Kid City is an incredible place for Kids to learn about Jesus, connect with others, and develop a real foundation for life.

What About Students?

OneLife is SCC's thriving student ministry that connects students to one another and encourages a passionate relationship with God. All students Middle through High School meet weekly on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm at our student center. This dynamic and diverse group is active in the community and the services are incredible!

What About Me?

Don’t worry! We have PLACE for EVERYONE!

Whether you are a young adult, woman, man, married or single, young or old, struggling financially or have a thriving business, we provide everyone a place to connect, grow, and serve!

Look through the Connect and Give/Serve portions of the website for more information or drop by our Connection Center after any service!
